11.15.2012: Help Kickstart Kaiju Combat (an interview w/Simon Strange)

Kaiju Combat

Videogame developer Simon Strange joins me for this episode because the new Kaiju Combat kickstarter is live and needs your help to come to fruition!

This month, we turn our focus to Kaiju Combat – a game currently crowd-sourcing its funding through Kickstarter. Now this is not the first attempt by Simon Strange to fund his vision of another giant monster fighting game, but this is a more refined venture with some really great rewards to the backers of this project. We go into a lot of detail about the game, his past in game development and what to expect in Kaiju Combat.

This rarely happens, but because I didn’t really have the time to report on any news and because I was recording the rest of this episode solo, so we’ll save the news items for the following show. I did play some really eclectic music, but before you look at that, make sure you click on the links here! Help me get this project funded!!

DAIKAIJU DISCUSSION REMINDER
Don’t forget that our next film to watch in the Daikaiju Discussion is Gamera The Brave. Now, as you have heard me talk about before, Media Blasters’ BluRay of the film is still not on the market. They are soooooo close that I’ve decided to extend the date almost one week. If you turn your homework in before November 24th, hopefully some folks will be able to get their HD Gamera on and I’ll get your comments into the next episode.
