This is another interview that I recorded waaaaay back in what the internet would consider “ages ago”. I picked up Stuart Galbraith IV’s book Monsters Are Attacking Tokyo a long time ago and for some weird reason, I didn’t open it for several years. I think I was under the impression that it was just another catalogue of kaiju films, but once I did start reading it, I was shocked to discover something that was completely different from any other kaiju book on the market. And good news, at the time of this writing, it looks like the publisher, Feral House, has some of those books in stock! I had a wonderful time interviewing Stuart about his love for the kaiju genre and Japanese cinema – I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to check out World Cinema Paradise and  Stuart’s DVD Talk Page to see his current writings about films and their rich history.

Once again, we have a lot to cover with the news – lots of kaiju updates (enjoy it while it lasts, kaiju fans!) and merchandise on the horizon. Plus there are some cool events happening – big thanks to Mark J for popping in to talk about an event happening in Los Angeles next month (see below).
