Y-y-y-y-y-y-yokai! We’ve returned (from the grave/shrine) to bring you another spooky cinema classic. Well, maybe this one isn’t considered to be a classic, but it’s an amazing film nonetheless! This month, we are looking at Takashi Miike’s The Great Yokai War (2005). This is a film with a scope so large, perhaps Miike could have been the only director that could have pulled this off. There are so many suits! So many creatures and monsters and sooooooo much awesomeness!
If you haven’t seen this movie – pick it up! It’s that good.
